MILITARY HOSPITAL GUILD'S APPEAL.
The Military Hospital Guild is making a special effort to-morrow (Wednesday) on behalf of the Red Cross Fund. Stalls for th c sale of farm produce, flowers, sweets, home-made delicacies and a variety of useful household articles will be "manned" by patriotiic lady workers in the Avenue, and a hearty response is anticpated to the appeal. Ai. unique collection of war trophies will also be on exhibition at No. 21, Victoria Avenue (next Messrs. ' loung and Collins' store). The hon. secretary (Mrs E. H. Suisted) will be pleased to'receive donations for the produce, flowen and variety stalls.
