THE DRIVERS' AWARD.
CONDEMNED BY CARPENTERS AND JOINERS.
(Per Press Association, PALMERSTON N., Nov. 27. At a meeting of the Amalgamated Society 'of Caarp,enters and Joiners the following resolution was carried unanimously: "That this union sympathises with the drivers in their endeavours to obtain a living wage for themselves and their families, and condemns the action of the v Arbitration Court in its decision in giving judgment in the case."
