SPIDER."

The star film at the Grand to-day and to-night will introduce another Famous Players star, who has made a, name equal to the best on the screen to-day — Pauline Frederick, who will appear in the five-act drama "The Spider." It is not necessary for us to make remarks about this picture; the management state that it is a good picture, and we leave it at that. Robert Leonard and Ella Hall are both popular artiste, with Wanganui picture lovers, and they will be welcome m the five-act photo play entitled "The Crippled Hand, or, a Modern Cinderella." This picture is very highly spoken of by the Sydney press and is sure to make good here. The other pictures include "Divorced," a two-act play by Ella Wheeler Wilcox, and capital comedy films. The programme starts this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and to-night at 7 p.m. Scats may be reserved at the Grand or by phone 1152.
