This afternoon's mat-nice will present a progarmme of pictures which will be entirely suitable for the young folk and will also prove interesting to adults. "The Prince and the Pauper," is a delightful story by Mark Twain, and is the only story by the great American humorist that has ever been shown in picture form. Tom peeps into the palace at Whitehall, and is roughly handled by the guards. The prince intervenes and takes Tom to his apartments, where they change clothes, and the prince, dressed as the pauper,' goes forth for adventure. The supporting pictures will include "The French Advance of the Somm,3," "The Black Box," No. ii, and three good comedies will complete a three hours' entertainment. The same programme will De repeated to-night. Patrons are reminded that tho' programme will commence to-night at 6 o'clock.
