GERMANS CLAIM SUCCESS.
LONDON, Oct. 12. A German commuique says: TJhe enemy was unable to resist our encircling attack in the Maros valley, and is also retreating on the eastern and the northern fronts. Enemy advances on both sides of the Vulcan Pass were repulsed.
