BIRCH —Killed in action in France, en September 25th, Leslie, beloved eldest son of W. and S. Birch, Pakaraka, Maxwelltown; aged 20 years. "He did his duty." YOUNG On the J2th inst., at her residence, No. 10 Urquhart Street, Isabella, relict of the late John Young; late of Oamaru; aged 65 years. Friends are informed that the funeral will leave Urquhart St. To-day, at 2 o'clock, for the Aramoho Cemetery.—F. Symes, Undertaker.
