<Per Press Assaciaiioa) ■ WELLINGTON,, Oct. 13. Barometric pressure increased during the night and the weather has improved generally. To-day moderate to strong southerly winds nave predominated. Present indications are for southerly breezes, veering by west -to northerly everywhere, and freshening especially in and to the south of Cook Strait; increasing haze and cl9" dl; ness with rain is probable m the West Coast, and southernmost districts, nnd a general change is likely to follow shortly. .Barometer is falling everywhere soon. ■
