ANOTHER AIR RAID ON ENGLAND.
TEN AIRSHIPS TAKE PART.

The War Office reports:—Last night there was an air raid by seven to ten airships none go*ing more than a few miles inland.
The indiscriminate destruction ot property was the apparent object of the raiders.
Anti-aircraft guns in action in four places seem to have been successful m nearly every case in driving off the raiders, one of wMch was pursued for several miles seaward by a naval aeroplane.
The bombs mostly fell wide of any centre of population. An exception was in a north-eastern town, where one man died of shock, two women and three children were killed, and twelve persons injured. In another town one man, one woman, and three boys were injured. Other damage was —Four houses partly burned, and windows hfcroken, 50 feet of railway torn up, one horse killed, and some lesser damage done, none of military importance.
