The Milan "Secolo" states that one important secret is that the Italian artillery directed a terrible fire on the Austrian headquarters' observation posts and military telegraphs over a wide area, including a large hotel within the town, whence the Austrian artillery was directed. Tlia hotel was entirely wrecked. Thus in a few hours the enemy's brain and eye were destroy cd.
