RUSSIANS CROSS THE DVINA.
(Received July 23, 0.0 p.m.) PARIS, July 22. German communique admits that the Russians crossed the Dvina. This was not mentioned m the Russian communique, but has now leaked out. Hho Russians have begun extensive operations on the Riga front. The first intimation was a telegram to the Novoe Vneniya announcing the capture of three lines of German trenches, and many prisoners and guns. Now the Rjga correspondent of the Bourse Gazette describes the population a.-; listening^ to a tremendous bombardment, which was commenced on the loth. (Received July 23, 5.5 p.m.) PETROGRAD, July 22. A communique .says .- -An artillery battle continues on the Dvina. .
