Several Zeppelins raided Essex and Kent, but were driven off by gun-fire without achieving anything.
The War Office announces a raid over Norfolk and Suffolkl It appears to have been carried out by four or five Zeppelins, only two making a serious attempt to penetrate inlafid- About 70 bombs were dropped. Oneman "is'reported seriously injured, but^noifjirther details of, casualties are available;
