SHOCKING FATALITY

DUNEDIN, May.s. A sickening accident, occurred at the Milburn. ■ lime and cement works early this morning, a young married man with a family of two being caught in the machinery.and literally dismembered. The victim was Jjames Duffy, 35 years of age, who resided at NorthEast Valley, and was employed as a greaser at the. works. At 1.50 a.m. he went to attend to the new meal ballwheel, and had to mount a ladder. He apparently got caught and was whirled round the spindle at a tremondoiis rate. Two legs and an arm we torn off, his head was battered and his ribs were broken. He must have been killed at once.
