Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. Balinerston North, report having held their -usual stock sale at Palmerston North on-Friday, when they offered a fair yarding of stock to a large attendance of buyers. Quotations: Medium lambs 8s 4d to 9s Gd; 2^-year, steers £o 10s, 18 months steers £4 55., cows and calves £5 Is., store cows £4 355., yearling steers £2 10s., weaner heifers £1 13s.
At FeUding on the 20th met., they offered a good yarding of stock to. a fair attendance of buyers. Quotations as follows: Oull ewes (poor condition) 4s Id to 6s 2d, sound mouth ewes fair condition 10s 2d to lls 2d; 4-6 and fresh ewee 15s; 2-tooth wetiers 16s 7d, 4-year ewes 14s; Southdown. lambs lls 7d.
