(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 22. George Havelock Green, who was arrested at Auckland about three weeks ago on a charge of disobeying an order for the maintenance of his wife and children, and brought to Dunedm, wenn down to Sawyer's Bay this afternoon,, where his wife is engaged as housekeeper to (Mr Perry, a currier. He called afe the house at about 3.30 and apparently fied two or three shots at bier, all of which took effect about the neck or shoulders. Green walked to Port Chalmers, where lie was arrested by Constable O'SEea at about 4 p.m. Mrs Green was attended by Dr. Borrie, of Port Chalmers, but from what little can be gathered at present it does not appear that her wounds are critical.
