OFFICERS OF FIFTH LANCERS RESIGN.

DUBLIN, March 22. The officers of the Fifth Lancers tosigned as a protest against the regiment being ordered north.
The regiments involved in the resignations are the Fifth and Sixteenth Lancers and the Fourth Hussars, composing the Third Brigade, under Colonel Kearsley. All the regiments in Ulster are English and are under Brigadier-Gene-ral Count Gleichen.
