VOLUNTEERS SALUTE REGULARS

LONDON, March 22. Two torpedoers landed 150 soldiers at Carrickfergus Castle from Dublin. The Press Association states that volunteers are guarding Craigavon. They are armed with rifles, bayonets and ball cartridges. They stood at the salute as the Dorsetshire regiment passed. Many of the Dorsets returned the compliment. Five officers and one hundred of the Fifth Yorkshire Light Infantry embarked, at Kingstown for the North?' ' The guards at Londonderry, have been irebled and 3>all cartridges served. Another draft of 200 reached Newry, where troops have not been stationed for eight years. The sentries at Ebringtqn narracks, been trebled. This is the first-, since the abortive Fenian rising in tlio sixties.
