The Council resumed at 7-40. • Tho Council [pushed through Committee tl\3 Workers' pompensation Amendment Bill, the Mining Amendment Bill, and the Reserve and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Bill. , The Hon. Bell moved the second reading of the Customs Amendment Bill. — Carried. The Native Lands Claims and. Adjustment Bill was read a second time and taken through Committee. The Council passed with amendments tho Customs Amendment Bill, Native Claims Adjustment" Bill, the "Washing Up" Bill, and the Mining Amendment The Council adjourned at 11-33 until 11. a.m. to-morrow.
