MR COOK'S LANGUAGE OBJECTED
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 12. In the Senate, Mr. McDougall drew attention to a newspaper report in which Mr Cook, speaking at Parramatta, had saidi that th© language that had emanated from the Senate would not be heard in a. pothouse. . / .
Mr Millen said he had written to Mr Cook, who replied that he wa s quoting a large number of samples of language used by Senators and stating that his comment thereon was that it wouid not be tolerated in a pothouse. The Senate by 25 to four passed a resolution to the effect that Mr Cook's language. was offensive.
