DEATH OF A BOY.
SHOCKING CASE IN MELBOURNE
(United Press Association. —Copyright • MELBOURNE, Dec. 12. George said Elizabeth Cookr are being tiied for time manslaughter of their son, r.ged 13. The cause of death was brain - disease, but attention and nursing were lacking. He had been ailing for years, •and weighed only 181b 2oz. He was covered with dirt and sores. Cook gave evidence that he was a bottle washer, and left home early every dlay. There was always plenty of food in the house. He did not take "the boy to the hospital because ho had lost two brothers by doctors. Both the accused were found guilty and remanded for sentence.
