CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES.
WELLINGTON SEAMEN TO BAL-
LOT.
A conference of delegates representing the Wellington. Dunedin and Auckland branches of the Seamen's Union, was held this evening, regarding tho attitude to be adopted in regard to the present industrial trouble. It is understood that a ballot of the 'members of the Wellington branch will be taken .tomorrow to decide whether the men now on strike shall go back to work.
The Federation, of Labour delegates and others, who have been meeting in conference to-day, are reticent regarding the prospects of a settlement, but It i s stated that the whole question deponds upon the result of the ballot of the Seamon'c Union.
