(United Press Association— Copyright^ SYDNEY, Dec. 12.
The combined unions' Conference yesterday had three cables from New Zealand unionists refuting the press statements that the strike liad collapsed' or had weakened. The messages're-affirm-ed that the strikers were as solid as ever. {The conference passed a. resolution that the Rev Howard Elliott, of Auckland, was wrong in asserting at an interview that Mr Parry, the New Zealand strikers' delegate, came to Sydney for no other purpose than to create a, general strike. The secretary of the conference says that Mr Parry througliout has been one of those desirous of preventing the dispute from spreading, and that Messrs Parry and JStarr have been of great assistance to the conference in maintaining discipline here.
