A match between referees and managers will be played as a curtain-raiser to the North versus .South Island match to-day. The managers' team will be chosen from the following:—Miss Day (Canterbury), Messrs. Foster, Marshall, Fairbrother, Moloy, Stewart. Floyd, Thomson, Riggs, Carrathers, Manning, and Huggins. Manager referee, A. Larking. Colours, Phoenix, yellow ana black.
The Referees' team will be selected from Messrs." Fisher, Gower, Billows Spurdle, Barton, McCarthy, Soler, Ellison, Harrison, Win stone, Corpe. Goldsbury, E. Williams^ and McFo.dgen. Colours, white. This match should be very interesting. Included in both teams are several past and present representative players. Bully-off at 2 p.m. sharp. By the dropping of a sheet of "copy." the score in the Buller-Taranaki match was given as three-nil, whereas it should have been three-one, Miss Harrop scoring a goal for Taranaki.
