KING'S TO-NIGHT

At King's to-night another rare programme is to be shown. One splendid picture is "Saved by the Wire," or "In Touch with Death." The story concerns the career of an adventurer who manages to get-the manager's post on a ranch. Here he carefully makes plans to bring off a big coup. The daughter and her lover make a frenzied effort to escape. When crossing a ferry the man is shot, and the girl, whom he has taught telegraphy, makes a dash for the telegraph station to apprise the sheriff. The false manager fires the station, and when the girl is brought oub from the wreck it is discovered that despite the peril, she has pespatched the message. Other exciting scenes follow.
