The British Parliamentarians were enthusiastically welcomed from Sydney. The crowd at the railway station was much larger than was anticipated., and when the train ipullled up the police pushed back sufficient people to allow Lord Sheffield to alight. The Lord Mayor was almost crushed up against him. He presented the Oversea Club's address, and later the party left for Tasmania.
