LONDON. September 12. A feature of to-day's trial of the necklace thieves was the first rovolation of how the pearls were stol<->. Quadranstein narrated thnt Gutwirti(one of the accused) at one interview reported that the expenses in connection with the enterprise totalled £2.-IPO, including £100 each to two postmen. but it was not mentioned'whether th*y were French or English. Gutwirth added that Lockett had charge of in*., pearls.
