OPERA HOUSE.
"DR. WAKE'S PATIENT."
A FINE PERFORMANCE
Lac members of the Hamilton-Plim-mer Company ably sustained' their first -light's reputation, when they presented last evening to a very good house the pretty comedy-drama/"Dr. Wake's Patient!" Tho plot is a delightful love story. Tho'bright and infectious humour,' which is such a, prominent feature of tho play, opens with the raisin"- of the curtain on a farmhouse scane. n"d continues with unabated vigour until broken by a chapter of pathos, keen and poignant, which ultimately gives place to a happy termination' of a trying situation. The d?ab<me is clever and witty. and in the hands of the Hnmilton-Plimmor Company the play is done full justice to. The' performers who took the loading parts, hnd splendid scope for their talent, and not for a moment did Dr. WaknV. Patient" descoml to tne com-rno--:'.ilaco or .scmbrc
