PINES SPORTING MEETING
The sports meeting promoted by the "Pines"'' lodgers took place on Saturday ufternoon. Four events, 75 yards, 100 yards, 440 yards, and a relay race, were held, and 18 comnetitors participated. Tho finals in both the 75 and 100 yards were productive of close and .interesting finishes. In the 4 10, G. Tar rant led all* tho way until ten yards from tho tape, when'j.
