On Tuesday, the- Ist inst., at St ratlord for my fortnightly cattle sale I had an entry of 800 hoad of cattle and L'3oo sheep.* Sorao very nice pens of forward and fat cows and weanera were yarded. Buyers wore present from all •parts oi the district and from the King (■cuntry. Competition from the outset wag good and improved further during tho sale, keen bidding being obtained for most lines, a very "satisfactory clearance resulting.
