FINE SERIES AT KING'S.

There was again a good attendance at the King's last night to see the final screening of the programme which has attracted so muoli attention during the week. To-night an entire cliange is to be given, and according to the advance notices a very fine series is promised. 16 opens with an instructive view of French comb making (from celluloid. There is an exciting Italian detective story entitled "The Smart Lady Detective." The dramas are a strong department. "The Mayor's Crusade," powerfully depicts the evils of industrial sweating in America, a pleasing love story being closely interwoven. "The Strike" is another striking industrial incident, -which introduces a very human touch. "The Mother of the Ranch" is an, Essanay creation, supposed -to have been enacted in Mexico during one of the recent. rebellions. There are two funny comedies entitled "A Breach in Breeches," showing how the young gentlemen of a military academy outwitted the mistress of a young ladies' school, arid ""Two Gay Dogs," introducing the audience to one of the big American pleasure cities. The Pathe Gazette contained some more excellent views of H.M.S. New Zealand lying near the_ old Victory in Portsmouth Harbour.
