LYCEUM, ; TH&AT^E,

One of the delightful: liy.oeum:.^ries of cinematograph pirns' "'was screened last night. The' la^stiprogramme H of; the best, and is one'that should draw good houses; for tne iremaindfer -of t-Ke season. In this picture -a^iss Asta -Neilson, the delighiiful-actfessof'the ■N'ordisk Co., plays the leading role, that of Sanna, a supposedly beautiful actress. Over her a young business man lost his head, but on the occasion of their first meeting, a bank manager, an old "spark" of Sanna, appears on the scene, and matters at once become complicated. However, the actress decides to stick to the young business man, but after awhile, through the bank manager's efforts to ruin the girl, the mother prevails upon her to leave her eon. This she does, but through coming into possession of certain papers she is freed, and ret-urns to her chosen lover. Needless to say, the acting is of the best, while the mounting and the elaborate dressing make up an altogether splendid picture. This film is supported by a capital set of subjects, and it was a happy crowd that left the : Lyceum with smiles depicted on their countenances after having witnessed a typical Edison comply, "The Stranger and the Taxicab." Choice selections were given ;by the Lyceunt -Orchestra. To-night this programme, wilj be thrown pnep more on -the screen.,: r;,:r; r r-
