A HARD-UP BOARD.
Received 10.45 p.m., Jan. 31. SYDNEY, Jan. 31. In response to representations from the Water Board which recently dismissed a large number of employees, owing to shortage of funds, Mr Cann has agreed to find an additional £100,000 when the present vote of £360,000 is exhausted.
