The Admiralty has selected several bases on the east and &outh coasts for Avaterplane depots. Ultimately there ! will !>e three hundred waterplanes on I the coast. Fresh experiments are being j made in the construction of airships. ! Lord Charles Beresford, speaking at j Birmingham, urged the acquiring, taX ' any cost, of five foreign Dreadnoughts I being built in England, and the laying down of six new ships this year.
