The unexpected resignations of Chief Assistant Engineer Mr. F. E. Powell, and temporary Assistant Engineer 31 r. R. J. The Board's Engineer (Mr. Hamer) in a Teport on tno subject stated that on Nov. 17th JVessrs. Powell and McKay applied for increases in salary.
