MESSRS FREEMAN R. JACKSON'S SALE.

Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co. held their usual fortnightly sale at the Wanganui yards yesterday. 'There "was a very good yarding of all classes of stock, and competition was keen for most lines, although fats were a little dull. Tho various lines were quitted at the follow ing p rices:—

Pigs: Porkers 25s to £2 2s 6d, choppers £2 10s, suckers lOsj slips los to £1. boars £1 to £1 10s.

Sheep: Two-tooth ewe hoggets 14s, ewea in lamb 16s 4d to 18s lOd; twotooth wethers 12s 6d to 17s 9d; 4- and 6-tooth wethers 15s 2d, mixed woolly hoggets 13s 2d to 16s 6d, woolly fat ewes £1 13s, ewes 14s lOd.

Cattle: Fat bullocks £9 lls 6d, forward yearling steers £4 9a 6d, ibullocks £6 17s 6d, fat and forward cows £5 to £5 ss, cows in calf £5 10b, empty forward cows £4 15s, 2-year empty heifers £3 16s 4d, forward bullocks"£7 13s.
