ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING AT PALMERSTON TORTH.

PALMERSTON N., Dec. 16
An enthusiastic public meeting was held here to-night in connection with the Bible Jn State Schools movement. The Mayor,' Mr J. A. Niash, presided. The meeting was addressed by tlhe Rev Canon Garland, the Dominion organiser. Six denominations were represented. A strong committee was formed to further the movement here. A ladies' committee was also formed, with the same object in view.
