CAPETOWN, Dec. 15. Viscount Gladstone has accepted General Botha's resignation, and. invited him to form a new Ministry.
Mr Leuchars has resigned. General Botha and the Hon. F. M. B. Hertzog are protagonists of the iwiarring section. Mr Hertzog commands olbout 20 followers.

The trouble which has simmered for some time over the Hon. J. B. M. Hertzog's appeal to .racial passions culminated in his Rustenburg speech. v Angry scenes resulted between the Right Hon. Louis Botha and Hertzog, while ' the Hon. Colenel G. Leuchars declined to remain in the Cabinet with the latter. Colonel Leuchars' resignation precipitated the crisis.
