(From Our Travelling Reporter.)

HUNTRYILLE, December 17 "The Fairy Queen her love does sen-] And something for each little friend." The above quotation heads an adv-ertiw-menfc inserted by Mr. F. Marshal], of Hunterville.- Mr. M^slinl! can by no stretch of imagination be called a fairy queen, but the youngsters of Hunterville look upon him as a fairy godfather for all the choice toys and presents he lias brought for them. In order that h: s great variety of toys and Christmas presents might b? set off to the best advantage, T. Watt's old store w;v, brought into use. and there the Fight of a, -lifetime- for little folk can bo oV tainnd. There is something for everybody, and the toys are marked at such ridiculously low prices that if the news travels up to Santa Clausland there is sure to bo a row among the workers, and who knows if it will not end in a strike. Even the fairy workmen do not like their year's labour going for nothing but Mr. Marshall is taking the risk, and everybody can get just what they want at practically their own price. In addition to toys and fancy goods. Mr. Marshall has imported 'a great variety stock of leather goods, such as purses, handbags, «|i., and judging by the prices at which the articles" are i n£C n S *• one oan understand why Mr. Marshall claims that his great

emporium is a "short cut to tho savings bank, and to tho youngsters' hearts." His advertisement appears in another column. The big pull on the purse strings at j this season of the year is met .by'^he i sheep, the wool from which is filling up I the trucks at the station yards.
