That was the only time she .had seen Miss Gordon. She knew about six months ago that her husband, while working at Dr rirown's. had passed himself, off as a single man. When the trouble first came out about two months ago, she learned that her husband had promised formal marriage. Only last week witness's husband said " Lorna Gordon was not the innocent one she was supposed to he, as she knew nine months ago that he was a married man."
