R. WOOTTON RETURNS
FREMANTLE, Dec. 17. R. Wootton., the woU-kunviJ horsetrainer, has arrived on a flying visit. He strenuously denies the report that he intends returning to Australia (permanently as the result or the treatment of his son in England. "There is too much money there for me to do that," he says. The reason for the general success of Australian jockeys in England is that they ' have' ' more "devil" than others, lie says. He considers Australian stayers may be superior to English because pf the hard wax. they are* trained, and their better lung power, but Australian sprinters are not in it with the English.
