NEWCASTLE, December 17. The Japanese tramp steamer Hakashikamara arrived this morning from Sydney on -fbuto to New Zealand with timber and general cargo. While preparing to load hnrdwood from New Zea- ; land an intimation was received from the ; Now Zealand Seamen's Union advising j tho men to refuse to handle the cargo j owing to the ship possessing an Asiatic ■• crew.
