Weather summary.—Warm, and hazy weather, with passing clouds,, has prevailed in most parts,, but heavy squally conditions, were, experienced on Sunday night in Foveaux Strait and on the West Coast of the South Island. .The barometer has fallen everywhere. Forecast—Present indications, are for unsettled and squally weather, with heavy showers in, many parts _of the country, and local electrical disturbances at times. A cool change is probable soon, strong westerly winds veering to the south for a short time, and the barometer rising temporarily south of Cook Strait.
