Things are quite gay in tawn to-^ay, -for at last we have a genuine Hash orsummer. For weeks the weather has. been\ decidedly unkiasant and horribly uncertain. Heavy rain has alternated with shrieking gales, whenever it baa not-accompanied them. Business has been unseasonably dull. Everybody has seemed below par. But (the sun makes 'all the difference. To-day the veriest cynics in town are smiling and spry. Matters in general are pretty much as they were.
