The memifoers of .the Thirty Thousand Club, Naroier, have sent lalong their oongratulatians on the igreat success of the work of the Wanganui Beautifying Society. 'Nexlt season it is expected tbo surpass any .previous^ year in the work of miaking Wanganui beautiful. Already six hundred puhutubawa plants, casting £30, have been ordered for planting along the Castlecliff tramway line. Gonville is going to surpaiss the splendid work done .there this year. Dune Hill, where some of the best workers in ithe district are to 'be found 3 can ibe relied on to greatly add to their .beautiful display. Anamoho is going to miake up for lost time, and already this fbran.cn has some of their work mapped out and are only waiting for funds to begin. St. John's Hill is flbeing held back just now for lack of funds. Wanganui East is also moving lalong slowly now for the siame reason.
Seeing the enormous amount of work In view for next year, and how this work might ibe retarded if the public do not support the Garden Fete, <it"ibehoves everyone to do a little, so as to mlake Wanganui tlie .most beautiful town in New Zealand.
