ARBITRATION LEGISLATION.

The Canterbury Industrial Association has resolved to submit the follomng remits to tWe1 Industrial CoiTporiationi at Wesl-liingtoii: (1) That an' 'amendment should be miade to the Arbitration. Act with tlhe view to simpilifying the procedure in obtaining a Dominion awiarf ;• (2) that the various • industrial 'associations in New Zealand should' ibe given an opportunity-of considering any ialtera.t.ions. additions, or ajmend>men!ts to the Tariff Act, and that the Minister of Customs should be (asked to consult the Industrial Corporation, ias bednw peculiarly fitted to consideir such amendments.
