Teport \j— We held our fortnightly sale to-day, when we offered 2200 sheep skins, 350 hides and calf skins, and \d quantity of tallow iand horsehair. . .Wool—Sold at last quotations. Skins—The market remained very firm, with keen competition. We quote: Halfbreds and fine crossbreds B|d to 9d, medium and coarse BJd to 83d, quarter to half-wools sd)to 71d,-dead skms s^d to 7^d, lamb skins 6d to 7d, green skins 6s 9d to 9s, green pelts 2s 7d, salted lamibs 26 sd.

Tallow firm. Parcels jn shipping order £28 10s. Tins "£2O to £06 103. Rough fat £19. Horsehair.—ls to Is 10^d per lib. Horns, 5s to 21s per hundred. Tails, Is Sijfd per doz. Hides.—tOx hides 'remained very firm, except, heavies, which advanced a farthing. Cow hides showed an ladmnce all round, while beet calfskins fell away to the extent of a penny-halfpenny per lb.', We quote: Ox hides heavy 8 7-8 d to 9 3-Bd, ditto medium B£d to 9d, ditto light 8d to B|d, cow hides 7id to 8 7-Bd, cut and slippy 'hides 6d to Bd, stag and bull hides s*d to 6£d, yearlings 7*d to 10 7-Bd, oalf best 12d to 13id, calf medium lOd to 12d, caif cut 'and slippy 6d to 10& d, horse hides heavy 8s 6d to 12s 6d, ditto light 5s to 9d. As usual at this time of the year, only odd packages and ibag I'ote of wool were offered.
