LONDON, December 14. \ The Scripture Gift Mission, learning that the King read the Bible regularly, wrote to Lord Knollys (the King's private secretary). The latter replied that he had asked the King^who directed him to say that the "report was trtue. He promised Queen Alexandra in 1881 to read a chapter daily, and had adhered to his promise ever since.
