ACCIIDENTALLY DROWNED
WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. An inquest was held rfxxliay on the body of the telegraph messenger Joainnax, . who was drowned in the Te Aro swimaning hiaths. It was stated in evidence that during the afternoon, about one thousand people were in the baths, but the accident to deceased w«s unnoTioed. A verdict was returned that o-eath was due to accidental dirawning and that n,o biam e was attachalble to the caretaker of the baths.
