CALCUTTA, Dec. -13. Clark's son, aged 23, ga/ve evidence that ihe had the powders mentioned by Bibn analysed, and they were declared to fee .allow poison. He^ asked his -mother (to go away witih him, 'but eihe refused. He knew Mrs Fulhiam was wealthy. His father did not Tove his wife and children, and was always running after other women. He abused and- struck his wife.
The .prosecution interjected that tfhey would 'produce (Mrs iFuliuam's letter, which was found in Clark's possession, confirming that the powders were poison.
Mzsl Wietes gave evidence 'tfliat d'ark told her noDm'berless times that he wanited to get rdd .of his wife, and he loved two other women.
