The committee on the Trade Union Bill adopted Sir R. Isaac's amendment providing that where a union, (adopted political olbjects a member anight notify his refusal to contribute 'to the political fuiwlj and cjbtain lan exemjption. The Opposition stigmatised the amendr ment as a breach of faith.
