PATEA, Dec. 13. The s.s. Hawera 3 which <wen,t agi-ound a,t Phtea, now l)ids fair to be rejcoinmissioned in a few ,weeks' time. On Thursday she was shifted 35 feet upi tho beach, >a/nd to-day an additional 30 feet was negotiated, so that the vessel has now been raised to such a position that repairs can be undertaken". Th© damage is not regarded as extensive',, and it is (anticipated that she will b& ready for s€ia by the end of January.. She will be launched over the breakwater.
